U13B | 3-2 | Ardmore Rovers | Great game between two teams who were unbeaten in the league so far this season. Despite the early possession by Celbridge Town, Ardmore Rovers went 2 goals up in the first 15 minutes. The lads didn’t panic though and pulled a goal back just before half time. In the second half the lads continued to play some great football and apply the pressure limiting Ardmore to only one chance in the second half. They got the reward their play deserved with 2 well worked team goals to come back from two goals down to win 3-2 in what was a very entertaining game. |

U11 E1 | 3-2 | Castlenock Celtic | Celbridge continued where they left off in their previous game against St.Moctas to record their 2nd win of the season. Wearing their new Friel Stafford sponsored shirts for the first time, Celbridge opened the game at a pace and caught Castleknock immediately. Stefan Brophy broke through the home teams defence to score in the 2nd minute. Team Captain, Toby Annei leading from midfield in a man of the match display quickly scored the second before 10 minutes. Celbridge by now were comfortable in the game and unlucky not to go in at halftime ahead by another couple of goals. Domink Fabich showed his quality leading the line. The second started brightly but an Celbridge were unlucky to concede to a counter attack within a couple of minutes of the restart. Buoyed by their goal, Castleknock who had beaten Celbridge 3-1 in the 2nd game of campaign scored a quick second with a long range effort. Showing character and resilance Celbridge kept their shape and crucially their heads up. Chances were created by Town and their hard work paid of when Castleknock conceded a penalty. Milwos Konzarack calmly put the ball beyond the keeper to restore Celbridge Towns lead with 10 minutes to go.
